About Chris

Chris Hopkins is the Business Manager for WSI B2B Marketing. She is responsible for the day-to-day handling of all accounting issues including payroll, taxes, billing, etc. She invoices clients, receives payments, and resolves billing and other business issues.

She worked for the Federal Government for 23 years at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (in Maine) and at the Dept. of Energy (in Washington, DC). Her job as program analyst was varied and interesting and it afforded her the opportunity to work in the areas of training, personnel, budget, telecommunications and long-range planning. However, she feels her most rewarding job was to be able to stay at home and raise a child.

Born and raised in New Hampshire, she has lived in Virginia, the DC area, Minnesota and now Charleston. Although she’ll never earn the title “GRITS” (Girl Raised in the South), she does find herself acclimating to the Lowcountry more and more each day. Warm temperatures, sunny days, beautiful sunsets (along with humidity, gnats, and mosquitoes) have become a part of every day life.
